Looking out of the window gives me butterflies in my stomach. The couches next to the big windows downstairs are awesome, just want to sit and stare the whole day. The dining room is really cute, so nice to eat breakfast there. Killington is most beautiful at sunrise, because the way first beams of light hit the mountains is undescribeable. The lodge stands in a perfect location, the interior of it is amazing, and the owners and help are so inviting that I feel as if they are my family. I hope I return here many more times!

...we want to tell you that best of all has been Mountain Meadows Lodge. The intimate character of the house, your friendliness, the scenery - all together has produced an unforgettable impression. We have regretted to have to leave you so soon because of our obligation to reach the next station...

"Perfect" describes our 2-day visit. From the welcoming committee - 1 goat, 4 sheep and a pig - to the wonderful hosts and meals. We loved it all. We hope to bring our sons back w/ us in the summer to enjoy the trail, the lake and all of the activities the Lodge provides.

This is the perfect place if you want to get away from it all -- all the comforts of home in a beautiful country setting. The staff and the owners have been very helpful - superb food and just wonderful accommodation!
Would definitely recommend this place and would consider it for our next Vermont vacation.

David and I have been coming here 8 of the last 9 years. This year was special because we saw a moose by the pond!
Thanks for everything!

Thank you for your hospitality, such a shame that our stay was only for one night.

What a marvelous place! So comfortable and friendly - we really felt at such ease. You've got
a really good thing going here and we are thrilled to have discovered you! We really love all the animals - especially Alice - what a cutie!

A wonderful & peaceful weekend get-away. We love the home-like atmosphere & the beautiful surroundings. The waterfall on our hike was so serene. Bill and Anne are so friendly & accommodating (Even though Garrett broke the top of the apple cider jug, Bill was nice about it!) It was definitely a weekend together that we will remember. Any of our friends looking for a place to stay in VT will get this as a #1 recommendation.
Thank you! Garrett & Caroline
We stayed at the lodge for my nephews wedding - What a wonderful place for a wedding! Your family has made our stay wonderful! Every staff member and family member were so gracious to all of us.
Food, lodging, etc. was wonderful.
Thank you so much for the hospitality. We would definitely love to return again.

What a wonderful relaxing way to enjoy the marriage of Frank & Allison. The entire place is beautiful and very homey. Never did we feel we were mingling among staff but extended family. Thank you from all of our family.. and get out a cookbook from your inn!

Four days of peace and relaxation... What a find Mountain Meadows Lodge is. Our daughter loved all the animals, and we enjoyed exploring the pond in the rowboat. Our two novice hikers (ages 6 1/2 and 7 1/2) had a grand time hiking the AT to the Thundering Brook waterfall - a pretty hike and beautiful falls, even in the late summer. We also took the AT in the other direction, skirting the lake and ending up at a small, pretty waterfall that feeds right into the pond. Oh-- and the 6 1/2 year old caught a 12 inch rainbow trout from the rowboat! We'll be back -- thanks for a wonderful stay.
