Kent Pond Depth Chart

Fishing on Kent Ponds

Kent Pond is annually stocked with yearling and 2-year old brook trout and rainbow trout. Stocking generally occurs early in the spring, around or shortly after ice-out. More information can be found at for specific information on the number and dates that were stocked.

In addition to the stocked trout, Kent Pond supports largemouth bass, pumpkinseed sunfish, brown bullhead, white suckers, yellow perch and golden shiners. The largemouth bass are quite numerous - while mainly small (<8") the Vermont fisheries division annually catches a few over 5 lbs in our annual spring electrofishing surveys. Recently one was caught one over 7 lbs! The bass regulation (10 fish/day, none between 10-12" and only one over 12") is intended to reduce the number of smaller bass in hopes of reducing competition and increasing growth to larger sizes.

A depth chart is available at the lodge or click on the link to the left.
